Lindau is a town on Lake Constance in the German state of Bavaria. It is known for its old town island. The harbor is home to the statue of the Bavarian Lion and the stone Lindau lighthouse with a view of the lake and mountains. On the lakeside promenade by the harbor stands the Mangturm, a former watchtower from the 12th century with a pointed tiled roof. Close to Maximilianstrasse, which is lined with restaurants, is the old Gothic town hall with its painted façade.

We will first be given a guided tour of Lindau (in English) so that you can get to know the history and culture of Lindau a little better. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to visit even more sights and great buildings yourself.

Participants will need a Deutschland-Ticket for the trip! Or you can also buy a Bayernticket for that particular day.
