The “SprachKulturCafé” (Cultural Language Café) takes place on several Tuesdays this semester. It is meant as an open conversation club for international students with an advanced knowledge of German. We don’t study grammar or conjugate verbs. We simply talk to each other in a casual atmosphere. You often don’t get the possibility to practice all the things you learnt in a language course. Besides, the new language and culture often give rise to very individual questions.
 

With fun language games and/ or interesting discussions about current social issues, all of us will practice speaking German and will have a closer look at life in Munich. The language cafè will widen your vocabulary, improve your pronunciation and make it easier for you to communicate with others in your daily (uni) life. So – come by, listen, talk, meet people, have fun and then feel free to come again next time.
 
The Cultural Language Café is intended for all students with an advanced German level (B1) who look forward to speaking in German.

Our hope is to create a group with whom you can meet up to practice German even after our Cultural Language Café is finished. However, you are also free to join on individual dates only.
 
Date: Tuesdays, (11/5; 11/19; 11/26; 12/3)
Time: 5 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Location: Olympic village, the exact location will be sent to you a few days up ahead.

Cost: 3€ (with a student ID) for all units

The registration will open 7 October but you are free to register in the middle of the semester until the last unit.
