The Franconian metropolis Nuremberg hosts the most famous Christmas market in the world and looks back on an eventful history: a former imperial palace, a powerful imperial city and an international centre of trade and commerce. During a two-hour guided tour through the old part of town you will be told interesting facts about Nuremberg’s history and will be able to admire the city’s landmark, the impressive medieval imperial palace.

Afterwards, the Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt will be waiting for you: in the traditional wooden booths, you will find self-made Christmas decoration, unusual Christmas presents and, of course, you will be able to enjoy the delicious food. Apart from that, churches and museums will be offering a diverse programme of Christmas concerts and exhibitions, so that after your cold winter walk you will be able to warm yourself up again. And, of course, don’t forget to enjoy a Nuremberger Lebkuchen with a mug of Glühwein or punch!

The guided tour will be held in English!
